Gemilang's aluminium buses are manufactured with great care and using proven processes to ensure that the material used maintains under fatigue limits during daily routine service. Aluminium also is naturally corrosion resistant, which helps preserve a vehicle's structure and prolongs its life. This ultimately saves money as no protective coatings are required.
Thanks to the first-class materials we use for our buses and coaches in combination with existing technical knowledge and experience, Gemilang’s aluminium products are able to pass all regulatory and statutory safety requirements such as FMVSS 220, ECE R66, ADR 59 or any other equivalent standards.

Buses and coaches made of aluminium are lighter and therefore use less energy, whether in the form of fuel or batteries, to get around.

Gemilang’s aluminium bodied buses and coaches are assembled using cold joining technology, which requires fewer hours to assemble, increasing productivity. This economical method allows for consistent quality, clean and stable assembly of the structure. Since there is no heat involved in this method, there is no welding deformation and the production process is clean.
Aluminum in electric bus structure can increase the vehicle’s driving range by roughly the same proportion as it reduces weight—for example, reducing the weight by 20 percent will allow the vehicle to travel 20 percent farther on the same charge.
